In WWII Nazi Zombies you belong to a special operatives group of 4 who's mission is to locate art that was stolen by Nazi's during the war and to find Marie Fischer's brother Klaus. Fischer and her group of ragged fighters and thieves are shot down during an aerial transport over a village where mad Nazi scientist Peter Straub has been experimenting in order to create 'The Final Reich.' 'The Final Reich' would be a way to defeat all allied forces with the help of reanimated corpses. The group of 4 have to fight off waves of Straub's undead Nazi soldiers to survive the night.

The goal was for WWII Zombies to feel like classic COD Zombies even with their fresh approach in this Zombies mode. You are still taking down waves of zombies while colleting points which are now called jots. With every wave taken down you get more jolts added, you are then able to purchase weapons off the wall vending machines and able to pay to explore new areas of the map. With each new wave comes increased numbers of bigger fast moving zombies along with the classic zombie type. You also have to figure out complex puzzled based objectives that get even tougher the farther you get. Teamwork is very important in figuring out some of the puzzles as they can be a little frustrating. With that being said there is another level of fun that is brought to you by solving these complex puzzles.

Now in this zombies they introduce a class system where you can pick 1 of 4 class types. Each class offers different levels of support to your fellow teammates. Each class coming preloaded with their individual special abilities and weapons. While leveling up you gain weapon modifications that you can take with you into future zombie runs. This makes for a more accessible entry than previous Zombie modes where you start with a pistol and knife. Being able to keep your weapon mods even after having to start over is pretty damn awesome if I must say. In contrast to the previous couple of Zombies modes which I didn't really care to play excluding Black Op II, WWII Zombies I can say I really enjoyed playing. It hasn't been this fun for me to play Zombies since Black Ops II Zombies. If you have not got the game yet, I suggest getting it. The longer you wait the longer you are missing out. Especially with how awesome the campaign is. OIfyou get the game enjoy.
